Director's Message:
These discoveries and innovations have come about with Biomedical Research, one important division of which is Clinical Research. It deals with finding causes of diseases; and thereby to find effective remedies and preventive measures for these. The most important application of Clinical Research is the study of new drugs and their effects on human subjects with the aim to determine its safety and efficacy. Clinical Research offers intellectual challenge. It builds a career path one can follow with a sense of pride. Clinical Research is a discipline that is destined to grow in the future as new drugs are continuously developed to put an end to human sufferance caused by various diseases. No wonder, it appears to be recession proof. CREMA (Clinical Research Education and Management Academy) was launched as an “Institution of Excellence” to meet the demand for Clinical Research professionals in June 2007 at Mumbai. Ever since, it has launched similar campuses at Bengaluru, New Delhi and Hyderabad. It has tied up with Clinical Research International (Canada) for an online course for CR and with William Harvey Research Ltd. for academic collaboration, whereby distinguished specialists of International reputation addresses our students as Visiting Faculty. CREMA believes and pursues spirit of excellence. It has its mandate to groom its students; to satisfy the needs of Industry and to help them to build Careers for Life.

Medical Sciences have witnessed marvels like successful face transplants. Human genome is decoded. Gene therapy is already on horizon. Biotechnology has become a large Industry. There is more hope for sufferers of rare diseases and life threatening conditions too.
